Have you ever wondered where some of the best dressed men in Calgary go to find their gear?
Would also like to know that it won’t cost you an arm and a leg to upgrade your wardrobe?
If you said ‘yes’ to either of those questions you’re in the right place 😉
More often than not when I talk to guys about where they usually go shopping there’s a handful of answers that they offer.
A few stores in Chinook Centre consistently come up. Other answers include places like Harry Rosen and Holt Renfrew.
All of these are great options. I even meet coaching clients at Chinook because it has a wide variety of places to shop that accommodate pretty much anyone’s budget.
I want to share with you a few hidden gems in the city that you may not have been aware of.
I’ve been fortunate enough to meet many of the owners and management of these stores over the years.
Once again, based on the feedback from the Street Gentlemen community this is a topic that’s been brought up a number of times.
Disclaimer: my interest in these companies is strictly from my own experience with them and a true belief in what they offer. I don’t receive any compensation for highlighting them.
In no particular order, here’s the 5 Stores You Need to Visit in Calgary Now…
An awesome boutique located in Victoria Park that offers a unique selection of brands that you likely will not find anywhere else. My favourite being Vancouver based brand – Reigning Champ who offer high quality casual-wear pieces in a variety of neutral colours.
Conveniently located across from the Safeway in Mission this locally owned boutique carries a wide range of European brands that are rarely found in Canada. A few of my favourites include WeMoto, ILoveUgly, and Supreme Being.
This Montreal based company offers a great selection of smart casual (which I touch on in this post) pieces that will easily become a staple in every well-dressed man’s wardrobe. Their selection is versatile which makes it easy to dress up or down.
Kit and Ace focuses on creating products that are comfy without sacrificing style. Founded by Chip Wilson’s (founder of LuluLemon) son and Chip’s wife. This is great option for anyone looking to invest in basics that they’ll wear for a long time.

One of my go-to stores because of their awesome selection and European fits. For anyone with a skinny, average, or athletic build you can trust that their suits and shirts will fit your body nearly as good as having a custom-made suit produced.
Knowing where to find some of the best, most unique clothing in Calgary is a great starting point.
To get the best bang for your buck it’s important to also know what pieces you should invest in and which ones you can choose to be more economical with.
I feel that this is important enough to address so keep your eyes peeled for another post that walks you through this process.
